Senior Production Editor
The Villages Daily Sun

I designed the weekly Travel & Leisure and Home & Garden sections. I developed and illustrated a weekly feature page that was published on the cover of the Sunday Lifestyle section. I was also a Night Editor, which consisted of designing, final editing and sending pages to press for publication. As a senior staff member I was a leader in the newsroom. I participated in the training of new employees, coached other designers and filled in for the design editor when needed.

I signed new business to the station, which entailed meeting and fostering relationships with local business owners. I also maintained the relationships of a dozen accounts, and filed all the necessary paperwork to ensure advertisements were broadcast properly.
